Rationality is the most human quality in my experience; I always go back to Plato’s Dialogues to see how Socrates teaches us to use our rational minds to understand what’s going on in every situation.
Also, in his work Nicomachean Ethics, Aristotle argued that humans are unique in their ability to engage in logos, or rational thought, which allows us to deliberate, make choices, and pursue a flourishing life (eudaimonia).
The secret is the so called "Pre-Socratics". "Plato and Parmenides " gives a taste of real mind blowing thought "Zeno's Paradoxes" is just an intro. Forget all the Pre-Socratic brain washing and dive into "Atlantis" and the" Titans"
